I will push for OPPD to continue down the path of achieving net zero by 2050. Global warming is an existential threat to our planet, to our country, and to Nebraskans, and I will do everything I can to help OPPD achieve those goals.
Community Engagement
I believe in open communication and active listening. My goal is to strengthen the relationship between OPPD and the community, ensuring every voice in District 2 is heard in our energy decisions.
Maintaining Reliable Power at Low Rates
I will work to ensure that OPPD rates continue to be among the lowest in the region and the nation. But I will ensure that this is done responsibly, without harming the health and safety of OPPD customers.
Innovation
Embracing innovation and smart grid technologies, I will work to modernize our infrastructure, enhance grid resilience, and prepare OPPD for the evolving energy landscape of tomorrow.
